OMNIgene™•XTRACT kit enables the rapid and efficient extraction of high-quality DNA from fecal samples. The modularity of the OMNIgene™ extraction technology enables it to support most sample types while providing input volume flexibility that allows the user to tailor the extraction protocol based on sample biomass and downstream research assay requirements.
Technological improvements enable OMNIgene™ extraction kits to provide unparalleled performance with inhibitor-rich stool samples improving yields and analyte quality compared to currently available extraction kits. OMNIgene™ extraction kits are validated for a gut microbiome samples and are fully optimized for samples collected and preserved in OMNIgene™ devices (OM-200, OMR-200 and OMD-200)* .
Additionally, the OMNIgene™ extraction technology does not contain or require the use of hazardous chemicals such as guanidinium salts or phenol-chloroform, increasing user safety and minimizing the generation of chemical waste.
