HEMAcollect™●PROTEIN BCT contains a novel stabilizing liquid designed to minimize hemolysis and stabilize plasma proteins for an extended period at ambient temperature enabling the generation of high-quality proteomic data across a range of proteomic technologies.
Hemoglobin concentration (mg/dL) in plasma isolated from HEMAcollect™●PROTEIN BCT and EDTA blood samples (n = 10) measured at baseline (T0) and after simulated transport (subjected to temperature cycling between 4°C and 30°C for 24 hours at each temperature), followed by room temperature storage for a total duration of (5 d) 5 days or (7 d) 7 days
ELISA-based measurement of EGF levels as a marker of ex vivo platelet activation in plasma isolated from HEMAcollect™●PROTEIN BCT and EDTA samples (n = 10), assessed at baseline (T0) or after simulated transport and storage. Whole blood was subjected to temperature cycling between 4°C and 30°C and isolated plasma between –10°C and 30°C for a minimum of 24 hours at each temperature, followed by room temperature storage for a total duration of (5 d) 5 days or (7 d) 7 days.
ELISA-based measurement of LOX-1 levels in plasma isolated from HEMAcollect™●PROTEIN and EDTA samples (n = 10), assessed at baseline (T0) or after simulated transport and storage. Whole blood was subjected to temperature cycling between 4°C and 30°C and isolated plasma between –10°C and 30°C for a minimum of 24 hours at each temperature, followed by room temperature storage for a total duration of (5 d) 5 days or (7 d) 7 days.
