• Samples may also be directly frozen in BIOME-Preserve collection kit for longer-term cryogenic storage
• Maintains low and very low abundance species
• Maintains many species of interest, such as Bifidobacterium spp., Bacteroides spp., Blautia spp., Eubacterium halii, Akkermansia muciniphila and Faecalibacterium prausnitzii
• While organisms are preserved alive in BIOME-Preserve collection kit, this kit is NOT intended to preserve samples for metagenomic sequencing
