Description of Services
AutoGen’s newest large volume saliva sample processing protocol, developed in collaboration with DNA Genotek Inc. allows labs to process saliva samples collected in Oragene 100, 500, or 600 series tubes in a completely automated workflow. This workflow extracts DNA from large volume saliva samples and is as simple as loading in the primary collection tubes into the instrument and retrieving the extracted DNA in its final storage rack at the end. With AutoGen’s latest enhancements, the yield and purity of the DNA are excellent with 260/280s of 1.8-1.9 and 260/230s of 1.6-1.9. The full, intact double-stranded DNA is suitable for any downstream application or long-term storage, with virtually no contamination of salts or proteins in the final eluate.
AutoGen, a leader in the life sciences marketplace for more than 20 years, is an organization that works to understand a lab’s full workflow while identifying areas to improve efficiency and reduce costs within their nucleic acid extraction processes. AutoGen’s workflows provide solutions that are the best fit for their customers’ needs as well as budgets. Our customers include biorepositories, contract research organizations, academic research laboratories, pharmaceutical companies, clinical diagnostic laboratories, and government institutions all over the world. AutoGen’s mission is to provide quality instrumentation and chemistries, as well as dedicated technical support - all with a level of post-sale service that is truly unmatched.
