The OMNIgene™•XTRACT ULTRA kit recovers DNA and RNA from high biomass samples, such as fecal, and low biomass samples, such as skin. The modularity of the OMNIgene™ extraction technology enables it to support most sample types while providing input volume flexibility that allows the user to tailor the extraction protocol based on sample biomass and downstream research assay requirements.
Technological improvements enable OMNIgene™ extraction kits to provide unparalleled performance with inhibitor-rich stool samples and difficult low biomass samples, improving yields and analyte quality compared to currently available extraction kits. OMNIgene™ extraction kits are validated for a wide range of sample types (stool, oral, vaginal, and skin) and are fully optimized for samples collected and preserved in OMNIgene™ devices*.
Additionally, the OMNIgene™ extraction technology does not contain or require the use of hazardous chemicals such as guanidinium salts or phenol-chloroform, increasing user safety and minimizing the generation of chemical waste.
